A Tilted Binary Warps Spacetime Asymmetrically

Unequal masses spiral inward on a tilted orbit, each spinning around its own misaligned axis.

CONCEPTUAL BINARY / FRAME-DRAGGING / GRAVITATIONAL-WAVE VISUALIZATION
Brightness is warping. A line glows in proportion to how far it has been dragged from where it would sit in flat space. Color is ownership. Orange where the heavy body's frame-dragging twist wins, cyan where the light body's does, grey where neither reaches. The bands sweeping outward past the pair are the gravitational waves. A spike marks each body's spin axis, bright end along its angular momentum. The two are not parallel, and the two bodies turn opposite ways. The faint line joining the pair runs through the barycenter at the small white cross, with the heavier body on the shorter arm. The pair is inspiraling. The waves carry energy away, so the orbit tightens and the chirp speeds up, then it eases back out and runs again.
